This is a  social support group for those who experience mental health and emotional issues.
We are adhering to government guidelines during the pandemic so face coverings must be worn ( unless you have a medical exemption)  and social distancing adhered to.
For the time being we are not able to offer refreshments so please bring your own if you would like.
We meet at Seaton Road Methodist Church hall on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
1.30 - 3.30 - but come for as short or long a period as you like.
Current government guidelines restrict attendees to 15 so if you would like to come it would be helpful if you let us know.

ABOUT US.....

Our mission statement talks about Worshipping, Caring and Serving in God’s love and that is our aim.

Worshipping…. We currently have our worship at 9.45 a.m.on the third Sunday of the month when we are joined by folk from other Methodist Churches in the area.  Worship on the other Sundays is shared at Trinity Methodist Church (at 11 a.m.) and Kirton methodist Church (at 4 p.m.)

Caring….  Whatever your need we will endeavour to be there for you.  If you need to chat about anything or would like a visit please contact our Minister, Rev Diane Smith, or our Outreach Worker, Dawn Bone.   We also look beyond our immediate area and support various organisations which provide care in the wider world.  We are also a registered Fairtrade Church, which means that we only use Fairtrade coffee and tea at our meetings and events.  We are also in an ecumenical partnership with two other churches in the area in running Walton Parish Nursing.

Serving…  In more "normal" times, we hold various events which serve the local community - in the past we have held monthly lunches and a regular "Big Breakfast".  We have a weekly Baby and Toddler Group - Little Fishes where parents can bring their children to enjoy various activities in a safe and welcoming environment. If you would like to be kept informed as and when these activities re-start after the Covid pandemic then please email us.  Our premises are also used for other community activities.

In God’s love…. Everything we do, we do with the aim of sharing God’s love.

Equality and Diversity…. Because we are all made in the image of God and everyone is equal in the eyes of God, we at Seaton Road Methodist Church believe that our premises should be open and available to everyone regardless of age, gender, race, sexuality, ability and background.

We are working to make everyone feel welcome.
